About
Hi I’m Roya, MBACP, BA Hons., from Talking Art Studio.
I am a person centred counsellor, who works creatively. My counselling space is based in a local arts centre, where I provide one to one confidential counselling.
Sometimes in life we can lose our way in the struggles of relationships, anxiety, depression, family problems, low self esteem, work stress, illness or bereavement. If you are reading this, it’s likely you are facing difficulties in your life.
I want you to know that you are not alone. Counselling can help you to reconnect with your authentic self and find a way through, by talking things through in a peaceful and open space free from judgement.
It’s really important that you have someone you can trust, when sharing personal thoughts and feelings, especially at a vulnerable stage in the process of healing.
Trustworthiness is a part of the BACP ethical and professional framework, to which I adhere. As a registered BACP member, this framework is integral to my work.
We can relate deeply to one another through counselling and especially through creative interventions, which work to uncover the deeper meaning to what we might be experiencing.
Please get in touch to find out if Talking Art Studio can help you. We will have a 20 minute online consultation which is free of charge to begin the conversation. Please be reassured that if we aren’t the right fit, I will endeavour to signpost you somewhere more suitable.
